Night darkness glows friendlier;
Earth resounds melodious;
Human hearts grow tender,
while hardened souls learn joyous -
....In Bethlehem.
Holy grace now visible,
Divine Love so obvious;
Human healing possible,
letting neighbors glow harmonious -
....In Bethlehem.
God now embraces our common
With eternal, cosmic courtesies;
This simple, forgiving phenomenon
making possible our own civilities -
....In Bethlehem.
Creation’s Baby’s visitation,
so human and miraculous,
bestows on us the invitation
enhancing our world now wondrous.
....Beyond Bethlehem.
