I cannot afford to keep myself informed of the important news and trends and threats of the day, news that may affect my life or influence my life changing decisions make each morning. . The news gathering (??) media has become one blob of gossiping, “he said, she said” copy cats who simply keep repeating the same stories, citing the same information, telling the same stale tid bits of non news, ad vomitus. And while the print media, TV and radio (including NPR and PBS, nose pickers/news pickers are endlessly repeating one another, there are other even more important events, actions, crimes, inventions, corporate shenanigans and all manner of changes taking place and being ignored. And of which I am totally unaware, in the dark, ignorant and blind. And I cannot afford the news media outlets that just might carry such “real news” because of my limited income.
Come on, there are more important trends, actions, lack of actions, decisions, and activities worthy of reporting than the caucus raucous in Iowa. Especially after the known results were published and broadcast the first twenty five times in the first thirty minutes.. But I do not know what else is happening in my world because there is no one reporting or broadcasting or printing the other real stories. And everyone seems to be telling- gossiping the same damn stories; even once respected news gathering sifting/
sorting/doctoring agencies I had come to respect and trust.
The broadcast media appears to be suffering from lock jaw and lock step by simply moving the commas or shouting on different phrases.
The print media has the latest in gigantic copy machines, making only minor changes in the location of the commas.
And my life is becoming more narrow and confining, and I’m becoming more uninformed and more stupid than normal because I cannot afford my own news gathering operation. I depend on the new bureaus paid for by the corporations who control my environment, my entertainment, and my enlightenment.
Hello, out there. Does anyone know what’s really happening, aside from what the anchors, who lock the ship of state in place, claim to know?

And, I'm already burned out and ambivalent with this long and drawn out so-called election primary. There has not even been a voting election yet and candidates are dropping out. When and how will the "people" get to make a real choice?????
