gathered fibers
spun as threads to yarns
woven woof and warp,
fabric to cover, shelter,
contain, protect, define,
warm, decorate, enhance,
Break
as tiny strands separate, part,
pull away, fade, chewed by moth;
Shredded remnants, rags,
shrinking, worn, torn,
holding no bitter wind.
Patch!
Re-weave!
Reduce the taut!
